How i did it.
Step 1 - Create a digital self-portrait, with a black background.
Step 2 - Create a document in Microsoft Word and insert the self-portrait.
Step 3 - Make a high contrast photo:
use the photo toolbox - click color and choose the black and white option. After that play with the brightness and contrast buttons to get the desired photo.
Step 4 - Open Microsoft Paint and create the desired red background.
Step 5 - Copy the photo from Word and paste it into paint. MAKE SURE THAT THE TRANSPARENT OPTION IS ON (the left of the screen below the oval tool)
